Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Marina, a cloud hosting service operated by Harpoon Labs. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Your account

You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission.

The service

Marina lets you host static sites, applications, and databases, and pay for them from a prepaid wallet. We may add, change, or remove features over time as we improve the product.

Wallet, pricing, and billing

You top up a prepaid wallet in Ghana Cedis using Mobile Money.
Each resource you run has a flat monthly price, charged from your wallet on its monthly anniversary.
Prices are shown in the dashboard and on our pricing page before you create a resource.
If your wallet cannot cover a charge, we may pause your resources. We keep your data for a grace period so you can top up and resume. After that period, paused resources may be removed.
Top-ups are generally non-refundable except where required by law.

Your content and responsibilities

You keep all ownership of the content you host. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, serve, and back up that content so we can run the service for you. You are responsible for your content and for following our Acceptable Use Policy.

Availability

We work to keep Marina available and reliable, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may carry out maintenance, and we will try to limit any disruption.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, or the law, or that puts the service or other customers at risk. You can close your account at any time from the dashboard or by contacting us.

Intellectual property

Marina, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Harpoon Labs. These terms do not give you any right to our intellectual property beyond using the service as intended.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Harpoon Labs is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the three months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and disputes fall under the courts of Ghana.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. If we make a significant change, we will notify you through the dashboard or by email. Continuing to use Marina after a change means you accept the updated terms.
